The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Varendra University organized a Coordination Meeting with the Program Self-Assessment Committees (PSAC) and the ICT Cell on Tuesday, 24 June 2025, at the IQAC Office, 3rd Floor, Administration Building.
The meeting was chaired by Professor Dr. Md. Habibullah, Director, IQAC, and primarily focused on the digitalization of the university's grading system to establish a more structured, transparent, and efficient academic evaluation process.
As part of the agenda, a digital gradesheet plan was presented by two faculty members:
Dr. Rejaul Karim, Coordinator, Department of Business Administration
Md. Asfaq Salehin, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science
In addition to grading system reforms, a detailed discussion was held on Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs) and Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs). Emphasis was placed on strengthening the alignment and mapping between CLOs and PLOs in accordance with the principles of Outcome-Based Education (OBE).
The meeting was attended by one nominated PSAC representative from each department, Mr. Md. Faridujjaman, Deputy Director, ICT Cell, representatives from the ICT Cell, and members of the IQAC team.
The session commenced at 12:00 PM and concluded at 1:00 PM. Professor Dr. Md. Habibullah underscored the importance of leveraging digital tools and OBE practices to enhance academic quality and institutional effectiveness.
